Post Loop – Different Post on each visit or carousel.

I really like the way this widget displays the post which matches the themes look on other pages. However, I would really like to be able to allow visitors to see different posts on each visit or to have some sort of carousel to vary posts. I cant find another widget that displays exactly the same thing but offers this in a carousel. I have tried to select random order but this doesn’t but it always shows the latest post – I think this could be due to me using another plugin that allows me to order posts.

    Hi Iain,

    The Post Loop can be set to output random posts by altering the Order By setting. Please open the Post Loop widget and then open the Post Query settings group. Set the Order By field to Random Order.

    As for a carousel, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle adds the SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget. Can’t see this widget? Please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets and activate the Post Carousel widget. You can have these posts also output randomly by setting the Order By field to Random Order.
