Post Loop: Carousel Display with no thumbnails

I have a problem similar to that already described by Milena at the following link:

Carousel display issue


I set a post loop at my home page and tried to use the carousel display to show some posts. No image was displayed at the home page despite all posts present images.
Glad to receive any advice. I’m a non-technical user.
