post editing appears on main page

Hi! I’ve edited a POST very beautifully with your amazing plug in. For some reason though, the post shows fully written out on the main page instead of just being a link to the post. The other posts, NOT edited with your plug in, do appear as a link to the post on the main page. Why is this? Help will be much appreciated.

    Hi Aureopoy,

    Hm. The first thing that comes to mind is that SIteOrigin Page Builder is set up not to not copy over the content to the main post. Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and then open the Content tab. Ensure that Copy content is enabled. If it is, it’s possible, for whatever reason, an excerpt isn’t being generated. Please open up the post you’re referring to and add a custom excerpt via the Excerpt meta box. If you don’t see said box please open the Screen Options at the top of the edit page and ensure that Excerpt is ticked.

    Whatever you place in the excerpt field should appear but only if your theme makes use of it. If it doesn’t, you should contact your theme developer as this is an unavoidable issue with your theme.
