Post Carousel’s “next” and “previous” button brings me to top of page

Hi!

I’m using SiteOrigin’s Post Carousel at the bottom of my blog’s homepage to display latest post, but whenever I click the “next” or “previous” button, it would bring me up to the top of the page.

I couldn’t find an option, code, or thread that talks about this issue. And when I tried to remove the buttons itself with a custom CSS, it didn’t work as well:

.sow-carousel-title a.sow-carousel-next,
.sow-carousel-title a.sow-carousel-previous {
display: none;
}

Please help with this issue. The blog’s domain is reflectingpanda.com

Let me know if you need any more information about this issue.

Thank you :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi

    Thanks for posting.

    This is most likely caused by your theme’s JavaScript or JavaScript introduced by a plugin. To find out more, please, try running the below tests and let us know how it goes.

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Andrew, thank you for your response.

    I would like to try switching to a different theme to see if the issue persist, because I am not using a SiteOrigin theme currently.

    If I want to switch to a SiteOrigin theme to test out the issue, which theme would you recommend? I am looking to create a blog that is simple to navigate and has a quick loading time.

    Thank you :)

    Hi :)

    You could consider Unwind or Corp.

    Hi Andrew!

    Thank you for your reply and help for this issue. I have switched to a SiteOrigin theme “North” for now and the issue resolved itself. Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated :)
