Post Carousel with WP Events Manager

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Has anyone had success with using the post carousel, or other similar widgets with the WP Events Manager Plugin?

I’m able to properly sort the events (custom post type) using the additional query parameters, but can’t filter out past events. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

    Hi Joe,

Unfortunately, this isn’t directly possible at this time due to how WP Events Manager stores its the End Date (in post meta) and the Additional field not having an option to reference the current date. You’ll need to use PHP and directly filter the query to do this. You can filter it using the siteorigin_widgets_posts_selector_query filter.

If you need assistance with doing this, you could hire a developer to implement this for you. We recommend using Codeable.
