Hello,

I upgraded the Page Builder by SiteOrigin from V2.4.9 to V2.4.10 and found an issue as follow.
On a web page, the function of dragging a post image for horizontal scroll in SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget area does not work. If I get back to V2.4.9, it works fine. Is there any bug around there ?

I appreciate any advice.

Regards,
Takeo

    Hi Takeo,

I’m not able to replicate this on any of my test setups. :(

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box. This will allow me to see the issue which should help me work out how to replicate it.

    Hi Takeoy,

    Very sorry for the delay.

Hm. Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    Hi Takeoy,

Oh! Very sorry about that! I had forgotten that the prebuilt (layouts) button was renamed to just layout. Please open the layout button and export the layout.

Sadly the export provided is far too different to the page builder export – sorry! (which means I can’t actually use it)

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for your support.

I have narrowed the cause and found an alternative solution.

There is ‘Slider WD’ plugin on the same page which seems to be conflict with SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget. I may change some settings of ‘Slider WD’ such as ‘Carousel = No’ if I introduce the pro version. At this time, I have just replaced it with a different slider plugin which could fix the issue.

I really appreciate your help and cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Takeo
