One issue I have not been able to solve is that the Post Carousel widget is showing all posts as thumbnails but they are not separately clickable. I get a blue transparent field on hover which covers all the thumbnails and leads to the same page each time.
Using Kedavra theme from Themes Awesome.
I know it should be possible to click on the separate thumbnails from your pre-built demo page:
but I cannot recreate this despite using all the same settings for the widget.
Is it a bug, is it too much for an amateur to ask from a widget, or is it an HTML thing…?

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
I would also suggest doing a plugin conflict test. For reference:
Try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex, Thanks for the speedy reply. I have deactivated ALL non-Site Origin plugins + cleared cache but this does not help. The entire widget still gets a blue rectangle on hover. And clicking on it leads to the same page each time. It’s like there’s an ‘overlay’ on the entire Post Carousel widget that only allows one link. I have read this problem elsewhere but a solution was not mentioned. The weird thing is that I have used 2 Post Carousel widgets in my home page. 1 for projects (=portfolio) and 1 for posts. They both show the correct thumbnails. The portfolio one links to the portfolio page. The posts one leads to a demo post. Cannot figure out why or where to change this.

This is a theme issue with the Kedavra theme. They’ve set up the CSS in a manner I can’t override so you’ll have to contact support to get this resolved.
It should be noted that switching themes temporarily will not affect your data.
