I have the Site Origin Widget bundle that was included with the Themetrust Create theme that I’m using. I’ve activated the Post Carousel widget, but it’s not displaying in my widgets when I create a new row and try to add a widget (or when I try to add a widget to an existing row). I’ve deactivated and reactivated it, but it does not work. I really want to use this widget. How can I get this to be functional? I contacted Themetrust support, but they said I need to contact you.
Hi Travelers,
To clarify, did you enable the widget by navigating to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets? Are you using the SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget or a different widget? If the former and it’s activated, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If the above doesn’t help, can you try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
