For as long as I have been using this widget the posts have been shown in a horizontal line. After the latest WP update they are now showing vertical (in a column underneath each other)- may be a conincidence but only noticed after latest update. This happens with the widget on the main home page AND in the sidebar. I had a general warning about php version so have updated that but made no difference.

Thanks for the reply. Have tried that (using w3 cache) but made no difference.
I have however tried another recent post widget and that gives the same vertical view instead of horizontal. When I look at preview when using the sitorigin widget it shows as horizontal but then goes vertical on live website side.
The only recent thing to change was an upgrade to latest WP version.
Thanks for the feedback. Please, try seeking out a working baseline. Temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. In that state? Does the issue resolve? If not, leave all non-SiteOrigin plugins deactivated and temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. In that state does the issue resolve?
