Possible to use Hero widget in place of header?

First off, here is our site, http://firstagraytown.com/ You can see I’m using a black background for the menu, with the hero widget below beginning the page content. My question is this–is there a way to get that site logo/menu to overlay the slider? I was previously using the standard WP header which accomplished this, but the SO Hero widget offers more features as a slider than does the WP standard header. Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kca7479,

This may, or may not be natively possible in your theme (meaning it might be possible without any adjustments as there may be a setting for it). It really depends on how your theme handles things. If your theme doesn’t have a setting that allows for this we could assist with writing CSS to do this, but unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.

We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.

If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.
