Possible conflict with HTML Map plugin?

9 years ago · Last reply by Bitaboutbritain 9 years ago

Hi. Hope you can help. I have been using an HTML5 map plugin from FLA-shop on my website homepage www.bitaboutbritain.com inserted into a SiteOrigin Editor widget using Page Builder, but the map image has stopped showing. I have tried deleting it and starting again, but that doesn’t work. It works fine on a normal page – see the link on the website. I am a complete novice at technical stuff. Can you tell me how to resolve this? The theme is Travelify. FLA-Shop don’t seem interested in the problem. Many thanks!

    Hi Bitaboutbritain,

Sorry to hear about the issues you’re having. :(

This looks to be an issue with your editor settings. Please check your ensure that “Automatically add paragraphs” is disabled. This setting typically causes issues with JavaScript. If that doesn’t help, try switching to the text widget to see if that helps.

    Hi Alex
Thank you very much indeed. I used a standard WP text widget and that did the trick. Excellent!
