THE SECOND VERSION OF VANTAGE PREMIUM DOES NOT HAVE THESE OPTIONS AT ALL UNDER ” Writing”->,

    Hi Linda

Thanks for reaching out. Do you perhaps have JetpackSettingsCustom Content Types enabled on one site and not enabled on the other?

    Hi Linda

Thanks for your feedback. Jetpack needs to communicate with the WordPress.com server each time you publish a post. Have you tried to make your site public, activate Jetpack and then turn maintenance mode back on?

HiI am wondering if it is possible to turn the VANTAGE headline widget into a clickable link. When editing the widget it has several options such as ; Attributes , layout, and designUnder "design" there is an option to change the link colour.BUT:How do I insert/ add a link into VANTAGE headline widget?
Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi :) The Headline widget fields do accept HTML so you could manually enter a link as follows: http://www.echoecho.com/htmllinks01.htm

    Splendido!! :)
    Thanks !! Got it!! :)
    BUT:
The link is only possible to add in the subheadline of the Vantage headline widget.Tried several options but the subheadline supports links only.
Thanks and have a nice day :)

In local testing I was able to add a link to both fields. If you send us a link to the page concerned we’ll take a look and make sure your link markup is correct.

    Aha,
So I get back and retry.
If you say it works I made Done misstake.
I get back to you ?

    Thanks.

This is how it should look:

    <a href="http://www.yahoo.com" target="_blank">Go to Yahoo</a>

If you are using the Vantage Headline widget, try switching to the SiteOrigin Headline widget, part of the Widgets Bundle: https://wordpress.org/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/.

Thanks and have a nice day,Linda

Awesome :) Glad that helped. It’s basically a newer version of what was originally a built-in theme widget.

    All the best.

    Hi,

Is it possible to have the blogpost page in a 3 columnversion instead of the default 1 columnversion ?

    Kindest reg,

  15. Andrew Misplon Staff 9 years, 7 months ago

Not quite but you can try the grid layout. That’s set from AppearanceCustomizeTheme SettingsBlogBlog Archive Layout.

  16. Linda Carlen 9 years, 7 months ago

    Ok
    I try that
    Thanking

    For sure :)

    Hi,
The grid layout works …so and so.. not optimal. It would be optimal f the size of the pics in grid layout could be 300 x 300 px.As they are shown now, they are very small.
This would be a dream if you could work for the next update.
Is there a solution for this matter already today pls advice.I search thorough the settings but couldn“t find any solution to the matter.

  19. Andrew Misplon Staff 9 years, 7 months ago

Unfortunately, the Grid layout in its current form doesn’t have the settings you’re looking for. In the future we’ll release a highly configurable blog widget but don’t have one ready yet.

What you can try is: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-for-siteorigin/. Widgets for SiteOrigin offers a blog widget with a few different layout options.
