Poor thumbnail image quality widgets bundle siteorigin slider

Hi I have browsed through question sort of related but all seem to be about the meta slider.
The problem I have is with the low image quality using the siteOrigin Post Carousel especially when viewing via a mobile.
Is there any way I can fix this please, or is it a case of finding another plug in.

    Hi Adam,

    Thanks. To clarify, are you using any image compression plugins like EWWW or Smush or anything like that? I ask because the image looks to be heavily compressed.

    Hi Alex sorry for the late reply, I have turned of any any image compression I have, the latest post was posted without any compression.
    All images are 150 dpi at 100 quality which should be plenty for online use.

    Hi Adam,

    Your source images are fine, the issue is with the images once resized by WordPress. To confirm are you using any image compression plugins? Regardless, can you please try regenerating your thumbnails to see if that helps?
