Polylang function “The widget is displayed for ‘language'” not working in PB

Hi there,

Currently I am working on a multilingual website using Polylang and Page builder.
Polylang comes with a function to show/hide widgets depending on the language that is selected. Unfortunately this function those not work on widgets within Page builder. I know the function is working because I am using it also in the footer of the website. Do you know if there is as solution for this?

    Thanks for letting us know about this. I’ve logged this as a bug in our issue tracker. We’ll investigate this as soon as possible and try come up with a fix. Sadly, I wasn’t able to work out a reliable workaround besides using multiple layout builders. Sorry mate. :(

    Could you please explain the work around with the multiple layout builders? I’ve tried several option but could not get it to work.

    Hi FP,

    Sorry, I should have been more specific. The workaround I mentioned will only work with layout builders in widgets areas (separate to page builder). Basically, you add language specific layout builders and add them to the widget area directly and then use the polylang options language options to hide the layout builders based on language. This way it avoids the problem by not mixing languages in a single layout builder.
