Polylang : ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Hello,
As soon as I’m configuring polylang and set the language for the Home page I got a ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error.
De activating Polylang give me the site back!
As Polylang is the free plugin you recommand for multi language site, Could you help me sort this?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Eric

    Thanks for reaching out.

Ideally, Polylang support should go to the Polylang authors. They are most familiar with their plugin and are best equipped to help out.

A good place to start would be to de-activate all other plugins and then try activating it. See if the error still occurs.

Thanks for your reply, I’ll try togo to polylang support! But the fact I’m going here is because it is working fin but only when page builder is activated!

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the feedback. Can you confirm, does the error occur if only Polylang and Page Builder are activated? No other plugins.

    I confirm,
Polylang configured with not showing language!
I’ve managed to use it with the second option, showing the language in the URL http://site/en/post
The third run into the fontawsome problem where the downlaod is not the good adress (as the domain changes depending on the language.

I’m only having this problem now: The header is not translated. I put there a Text Widget, As in the footer.
I’ve translated the text in the polylang tab, .
It’s working in the footer, not in the header.

I’m spending too much time on those problems.

    Hi, I Work Here

Does the Visual Editor widget get around the problem?

  7. 9 years, 1 month ago eric monge

Yes, that’s What I called the standard one. The solution I chose is to add another SiteOrigin Editor setting him to display only in the desired language.
That could be an improvement of the Editor.
By the way, what’s the difference between the Visual Editor and yours?
    regards

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for your feedback. I’ll log this as a bug. The Visual Editor is made by Black Studio, the SiteOrigin Editor by us. At this stage they should be very similar. We decided to create our own as we needed a TinyMCE field for other widgets.
