Plugin Conflict

Hi,

There seems to be a conflict with your plugin and the Constant Contact Forms plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/constant-contact-forms/
After adding the Constant Contact plugin, my Revolution Slider disappears from my page. Deactivated all plugins etc. etc. and found that when the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin and Constant Contact Forms plugin are activated at the same time, the Rev. slider disappears from the page.

Are you aware of this? Would love to be able to use both of these plugins. :(
Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi SDEP,

Due to the follow-up thread, https://siteorigin.com/thread/cant-update-text-on-pages/, I’m unsure if this thread is relevant anymore. Can you please confirm if it is or not?

This is still an issue and is not related to my other thread at “https://siteorigin.com/thread/cant-update-text-on-pages/”
This is on a different website.
    Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi SDEP,

    Thank you for the confirmation.

To clarify, what version of Slider Revolution do you currently have installed? Was it bundled with your theme? If so, does temporarily switching to a different theme help?

Rev Slider Version 5.2.6, yes it was bundled with my theme (Book Your Travel).
Tried with Twenty Sixteen theme and problem still exists.
    Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi SDEP,

Thanks. Okay so the version you’re using is a little bit old (the latest is 5.3.0.2), but that shouldn’t really matter in this instance. To clarify, what steps do you have to take to replicate this issue? Enable the contact form and that’s it?

Could you please try temporarily replicating the issue and then viewing a page with a Slider present. Then, could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi SDEP,

    Thanks for that.

Okay, based on the console results. This seems to be a direct conflict between the two and us.

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? Also, could you please tell me when I would be able to temporarily (like a few minutes at most) enable the contact form?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi SDEP,

Thank you for that. I’ve been able to resolve the issue on your homepage by disabling “Automatically add paragraphs” setting for the SiteOrigin Editor you’re using to add rev slider to your homepage. I’m unsure why this issue only occurs when the contact form is enabled but this should allow you to use both plugins while making a minor widget setting adjustment.

If this issue occurs elsewhere, try disabling that setting there also.
