Pitch Front page and Project Gallery

Hi Guys,

I am trying to setup my indie company with a website using pitch. But the front page has issues with the images being initially large and then it changes as the slide changes to the next one.

I have also setup the project page (which was the main selling point to me for pitch) but I can’t seem to get the display to work for the bottom project gallery. i.e when you click on view project and you have the other projects displayed along the bottom in a left to right gallery view.

I am happy with the style and feel of pitch, I just hope to be able to get it to work for my website.

Thanks for your time and help,
Jonathan

    Hi Joduffy

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Slider

Please try uploading your slide images at 960 x 360px. Hopefully that’ll help.

    Projects

To add a main gallery to the left column in projects, for example to the left of the text here: http://www.tempertantrum.com.au/product/animal-friends/, edit the project concerned, at the very top of the Visual tab click Add Media and insert a Gallery.

Any images or text added below that will appear in the right column.

Let us know how you come along.

The second photo shown for pitch is what I am trying to achieve. Its the list of projects shown along the bottom with a photo of the current selected project and text above.

Please check that Appearance > Theme Settings > Projects > Use Project Skill Tags is enabled. Then on each project add skill tags using the right column field. That should fire up the related projects section.

    Awesome.

    Thanks Andrew. That worked.

What is the recommended image size for the photos for projects. I would like to get the same gap that you have if it is possible. Thanks for all your help in helping me setup everything. I really appreciate it.

No problem at all. Glad to hear you made progress.

    The images here: http://demo.siteorigin.com/pitch/project/ are 255 x 200.

The main image (gallery) here: http://demo.siteorigin.com/pitch/?demo_project=1 is 600 x 480.

Hope that helps. Shout if you need any further help.
