Permalink question

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hi,

I was wondering, bought the Sydney Pro wp-theme and I am using Siteorigin Pagebuilder to create a website, but I have a problem with the permalinks (format) which are created by Pagebuilder, I assume. (The standard wp permalinks are set to postname.)

Is there a way to rename the standard permalink ’employees’ format into something else?
and how can this be done?

and then one more question:

Is there a way to change the seperate ’employees’ permalink as well? instead of it beeing a randomized thing like …../’#pg-44-2′?

Hope you can help out.

with best regards,

Jonathan.

    Hi EJdb,

I’m confused. pg-44-2 isn’t a permalink, it’s an ID used purely for reference – it should never be visible to the user unless you display it to the user. You can set a custom row id by clicking the wrench icon above the row in the editor and then head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Attribute settings group and set the row id.
