Password protected pages and child pages do not work

When I navigate to the password protected section of my site, http://portfolio.joshuaminer.com/work and enter my password, I get this page instead http://portfolio.joshuaminer.com/wp-pass.php

Switching to Twenty Fifteen resolves the issue. I suspect there is some security function issue with Vantage.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

    Hi Mauser,

What are you using to create the password protected section of your site? Are you using a plugin or standard .htaccess?

    Hi Greg,

I’m using .htaccess. Updating to the newest version of Vantage fixed the problem with the parent page, but the child pages now load the correct address without the content. I get a message saying “that page can’t be found” instead.

    Hi Mauser

Sorry to hear about the hassle. Greg might be able to shed some light on why that problem exists with Vantage and not Twenty Fourteen, I’m not sure.

You could go the plugin route for this, that’s an option if you’d like a quick solution:
