Parse Error in Unwind Theme

I’m using the Unwind theme (no child themes and no custom CSS) A reader just alerted me to the fact that I’m getting the following error message on all single post view pages:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/julianpe/public_html/reachingforless.com/wp-content/themes/siteorigin-unwind/template-parts/content-single.php on line 24

I completed deleted and reinstalled the theme, but the error remains. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

    Hi Pecenco,

    Oh! Sorry about that! I’ve logged this as an issue and this will be fixed in the next update.

    This issue is occurring as you’re using a PHP version prior to PHP 5.4. I highly recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider to update your PHP.

    Thank you! Apparently my sites were locked into an old version of PHP. I figured out how to change that, and it’s working properly again.
