Hi,
I have a problem with my homepage, using the Page Builder.
When setting a background image for a row, it automatically uses the parallax effect when scrolling.
Unfortunately, it seems the break sometimes when reloading the page.
The image seems to stop scrolling and text contained in the box moves further.
Creating a very weird situation.
Here is the Link.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Matthias,
I’ve had a look at your website and the parallax being used isn’t the Parallax included in SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Unfortunately, I’m not too sure what’s adding the parallax effect so I would recommend running a plugin conflict test to try and work out what plugin is adding the parallax. This is not to suggest this is a plugin conflict, but a plugin conflict test is a good way of working out what plugin does what.
For reference, here’s our typical plugin conflict test:
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
