Hi,
I created my website using Siteorigin plugin, it looks great on a PC screen:
I inserted a parallax image on every page, on some pages i inserted 2. but when I open it on my phone the parallax effect doesn’t work.
Can someone please help me fixing the problem?

My website is http://www.somatictherapymaui.com

Thank you for your help,
Amitabh

    Hi Amitabh

    Thanks for posting.

It looks like you’re using a fixed background. Fixed background images sadly will not work on mobile devices due to technical limitations (read: they’re purposefully disabled by Google and Apple). When your fixed background is disabled it’s set to cover the area and has a centered position, that position happens to be on the blue sky part of the background. You could give parallax a try instead of fixed.

    Thank you for your help.
I do like the fixed option and I do understand that it will not work on my phone.
Is there a special CSS I can input in the mobile section that will make it have parallax option when in mobile but will still keep my fixed option on desktops?

    Thank you for your help,
    Amitabh

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Amitabh, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, it would only be possible to set up the image in the manner you’ve described using Custom CSS. You would need to set it up to use parallax and then override the parallax in all instances except mobile. We’re a small team with limited resources. To remain viable, our free support is limited to basic usage. Custom CSS changes are something we’re able to assist with within our premium support scope.
