Paragraph Spacing on Blog Post (Vantage)
Good morning.
I’m a wordpress rookie but learning.
The spacing on my site is correct largely because I used the page builder. On the blog post I didn’t use the page builder because I needed to link some text to other sites. In the visual screen, there is a one line space between paragraphs but when I preview it, the spaces aren’t there. How can I add the a space between paragraphs on the blog post without changing the format of the other pages?
Thanks!

9Hi karissa
Thanks for running Vantage. Give the following a try under Appearance > Custom CSS and adjust the 25px figure as required, should do the trick:
.blog .entry-content p, .archive .entry-content p, .single .entry-content p { margin: 0 0 25px; }I did as you suggested, saved the CSS, went to my post and hit preview… still no spaces between paragraphs. Anything else I can try? I would put it in Page Builder if there was a way to link text… is there?
You can adjust 25px as required.
Please send through a link to a post with more than one paragraph and I’ll take a look.
I’ve brought the 25px all the way to 80 and nothing is budging.

I’m not seeing your Custom CSS for this in the page. Are you certain it’s correctly saved under Appearance > Custom CSS?
I think so. When I hit Appearance and then Custom CSS, what the code you gave me is still there.
The challenge here: http://themomentumpro.com/blog/ is that your content is being added in divs, not paragraphs as it should be. I’m not 100% sure why that would be. Did you perhaps paste it from a document with rich formatting. I’d suggest removing everything, saving, copying your content over to a plain text editor and then copying it back, re-saving. Vantage does have paragraph spacing by default so it’s not something that we should need to adjust in this instance.
I can see your Custom CSS now, but it won’t take effect without paragraphs in the blog post.
You rock! Problem solved. I had cut and pasted from Evernote. Once I put it through a plain text editor the formatting corrected. Used the code you gave earlier to adjust the size.
Thank you!
Super, glad to hear that helped.
All the best.
