Hi!
We have a really bad problem with one of our Custom Post Types where “panels_data” are saved to the post even though Page Builder is not active for that Post Type.
This, in turn, brakes every single post belonging to that Post Type showing content from “panel_data” instead of the actual post content.
The “panel_data” is taken from 1 standard page and saved to all our Custom Post Type posts. (Same page)
How can this happen?
Below is a database comparison of a working post and a broken post. The only thing that gets added to the broken posts are the “panel_data” metadata: https://cl.ly/c533ddf6bac0
And here’s a side by side comparison of a broken page and a working page with the same content: https://cl.ly/40d0920c105f
We are using WPML on the site but this Custom Post Type is set to not be translated so that shouldn’t interfere.
This happens once or twice a month and I haven’t been able to recreate it manually.
Some insight into this would be greatly appreciated!
Hi David,
Unfortunately, we’re not too sure why this is happening. We haven’t received any other reports of this type of issue happening so I suspect SiteOrigin Page Builder is having issues with something specific to your setup. Can you please provide me with a copy of the code you’re using to create this custom post type and any custom code specific to this post type? I’ll take a quick look over the code and see if I can spot anything that may be causing his issue.
