PageBuilder Row Custom CSS, Classes & Backgrounds Not Applying

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

I can get the design tab to work for widgets, changing their background colors, etc. but for ROWS, the changes I make don’t seem to commit or save when I update my page draft or preview.

    Hi Shaun

Are the changes saving? When you go back is the row background color still there?

Is there a particular row I can view that is showing a background color in the back end, assuming the changes are saving.

    Thanks

I think my primary issue is nothing is saving.

On row #pg-429-2 I uploaded an image to use as a tiled BG then hit [save] on the row styles and [update] on the page.

Viewing the page none of the edits commuted but reloading the edit page I see the image and CSS I defined in the design tab of the row I edited earlier, it just doesn’t show on-page.

Ok, got you. So the info is saving in the admin but not printing on the front end. Which row are you targeting? Can you point it out for me?

Specifically I am targeting the row with the iMac, trying to add an image background behind that row that isn’t rendering but shows in admin.

Thanks for confirming. Let’s try troubleshoot as follows:

    1. Temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins.
    2. If the problem resolves then re-activate your other plugins one by one, re-checking the issue after each activation.
    3. If the above test doesn’t fix the issue then try the same test but with the Vantage parent theme activated.
