For approximately a week I haven’t been able to build any new pages because of bad coding produced by the PageBuilder. I see others complaining about similar issues as I have. Specifically, I’ve tried cloning pre-existing pages and that will produce a jumbled page without touching anything. I’ve also tried to copy and paste elements into a new page and also just adding elements to a new page. No luck in any case. The results cannot be published. At this point I’d like to know if SiteOrigin is aware of the issue and if so, what is the estimated time for a fix? I also tried rolling back to 2.4.25 as suggested in one post and that did not work for me either.

Hi Zeb,
Sorry for the delay.
Regarding the cloning: Please update to the latest version of SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. That update will resolve this issue for new clones. This fix isn’t, however, retroactive (as we can’t know if something is intentional or not) so you’ll need to manually correct the previous layouts (read: the issue is that certain things have been set to 0, such as width, to correct it simply empty those fields).
Regarding the copy and paste issue. I’m not aware of any issues with it. Please update SiteOrigin Page Builder and then can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
