Hi,
i just created a new page and when i went into prebuilt layouts, I noticed that there is a new option under layouts directory that allows you to either import or export a theme. I download the Origami theme from site origin but it doesn’t seem to let me upload it. when i export a theme, it seems to be a .json file. how can i convert the theme package that i downloaded into that type of file?
thank you guys for your help!!
Hi Ivan,
The import and export functionality is only able to import and export page builder layouts. Origami is a WordPress theme and not a Page Builder layout so it cannot be imported nor is there a way to convert it. Sorry mate. :(
If you would like to however use Origami as a theme, please navigate to WP Admin > Appearance > Themes and click Add New Then search for and install Origami (it’ll be by Greg Priday).
I got the Origami theme from the site origin website, I thought it would be compatible. How can I get dedicated page builder layouts then? thanks for your response.
Hi Ivan,
Currently, the only dedicated place would be the layout directory, which can be accessed by opening a page builder powered page and clicking the layout button, then open the layouts directory by clicking it in the sidebar.
There may however be other people you could get layouts from – I do not know any direct references, you’ll have to search for one – sorry!
