Hello,
Using latest version of the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin (2.6.7) on WP 4.9.5.
Client: Chrome 66.0.3359.139
When editing a page that is set as “Home Page”, the SO Page Builder edit interface does not kick in. The UI is the default WP edit content UI. Well, it does show up if you refresh the page many times, it eventually shows up (and another refresh makes it disappear).
No error in the Console.
Editing other Pages works fine.
Editing Posts works fine.
Hi Alexandre,
As this isn’t a widespread issue, this is likely a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex S!
Eventually I was able solving it by creating another page, copy/pasting the content into the html view then assign it as the new front page. Strange, but works :-)
Thank you,
a.
