Pagebuilder edit not working -> shows blank editor despite having text!

Hi

I’m having problems with your plugin all day now for 6 hours already. I’m getting really frustrated at the moment.
The first thing was the pagebuilder tab that was missing, managed to solve that myself, temporarily as usual, the problem always returns.

Now the current problem is the following :

I have a post, laid out with different rows and editors. When i click an editor it’s entirely empty.

So my entire website is down AGAIN cause of recurring problems.

I disabled EVERY plugin except site origins and the problem STILL remains. So its the siteorigin plugin itself that is performing poorly for some reason.

Please advise on a PERMANENT solution

thank you

I’ve just managed to solve this as well for the ones interested :

Go to plugins -> siteorigin widgets -> disable every widget you never use ( in my case headline / carousel etc)
-> disable Siteorgin Editor + Image ( image was blocking my editor widget, image didn’t have a blue image like the rest of the active widgets so it was clear this one was at fault. )

The reason why this plugin is having so much problems at the moment on my side is still unclear.

Can siteorigin answer whether there are known conflicts with :

    Easy social media share
    Essential grid

Please let me know, thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Becreative3d,

I’m sorry to hear about all of the issues you’re experiencing. :(

I’m not aware of any conflicts with either of those plugins. Your best bet to rule out conflicts would be to run a plugin conflict test when the issue itself occurs (this will, of course, require reverting the changes temporarily). For reference, this is the typical plugin conflict test we recommend:

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

To clarify, there are no known issues with the plugin itself that would cause what you’ve described. This makes a plugin conflict a very likely cause.

      Hi alex

i’m having the same issue right now.

      What I tried :

Disable all non site origin plugins – > view site -> problem remains.

-> re enable all plugins -> problem remains

-> switch to standard wordpress theme -> issue remains …

I don’t know where to look for, the enabling / disabling of plugins to narrow down to 1 conflicting plugin doesn’t seem to work.

    Hi

The next time the problem arises i’ll try your process.

The problem always automatically repairs itself. So i’m not having it at this time.

    Thx for the info already

    Kind regards
