Pagebuilder disappeared

Hi,

I have a fairly basic site, sailingtoantarctica.com on which I have happily used page builder for over 2 years. Last week, after about 2 months, I went to make a post.

Pagebuilder has vanished. It is not visible on any of my devices used in my home. (That’s desktop, laptop, tablet and phone, all Apple, all uptodate). Using 4g rather than wifi makes no difference. My friend with access has tried it on PCs and Apples at her place and it works ok.

On old posts written with PB, I can see the code inserted in the post when I go to edit, but not the boxes and rows. Those posts look fine online. But there is no PB when I try to use it to create new content.

The widget is there, activated and up to date. I am loath to take it off and reinstall in case it screws up the whole site.

I have changed passwords. Switched everything on and off. I am asking BT in case the recent upgrade to my broadband in some strange way has affected it.

I am not a developer or technical. Does anyone know of any obvious setting or change that might have had this impact on my ID?

Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sarah,

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
