I’m using PageBuilder with the Vantage Premium theme and am trying to add a widget that’s used with the Time.ly All In One Event Calendar.
Basically whenever I use a widget in PageBuilder, I am unable to modify any of the Widget’s settings, meaning that I always end up with a blank widget if I try to change the options.
If I attempt this with a PageBuilder page, then all the check boxes end up being checked.
Anyone else having this issue? The Widget works fine outside of PageBuilder?
Hi jidavies
This is unfortunately a known conflict. It has been logged and will be attended to as soon as we can.
Apologies for the hassle.
Andrew
Is there something I can do to get this working for now?
I want one on the HomePage, is there something I can manually edit to change the settings of a particular widget?
Thanks for the reply,
Jamie
Hi Jamie
1. Can you bring me up to speed quickly. From what I remember the issue is that a few of the fields (not all of them) aren’t saving data when you hit save within Page Builder.
2. Is there any other way to insert the calendar? Is there for example a shortcode option?
Thanks
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Basically there’s three checkboxes in the Widget options:
– limit to event categories
– limit to event tags
– limit to individual events
If you insert the widget to page builder and then close widget options, the widget displays fine, however say I edited the amount of events to display from 10 to 4, then when clicking “Done”, all the events dissapear because all the three checkboxes I mentioned above become selected on saving.
There is, but the visual editor doesn’t display it properly, and the shortcodes cannot show the actual Widget.

Hi Jamie
Thanks for the update, I remember now.
Can I confirm that you’ve taken a look at the shortcode list here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/faq/. You could build your shortcode up to show the correct view, categories, tags and events. You could then try inserting your shortcode via the Text widget or the Black Studio widget if that doesn’t work: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/
Kind regards
Andrew
