Change content area width

I want to change my left sidebar width and content area width. Increase content area width and decrease sidebar width. I used on Custom CSS but content area has the same width, nothing changed, only sidebar.

How do I widen the page width?

I have removed the sidebar on the right of the page (don`t remember how, but somewhere in the code…), but now there is an empty blanc piece of page on the right side. Somehow it does work on my Home-page,…
