Hi,
Can someone help me with my home page appearing twice? Running Vantage Premium as of today and somehow “home page” is appearing below my top slider.
I do not know code but can copy paste real well if I know exactly where to put it :)
Thx !

    Hi Scott

    Thanks for reaching out.

Head over to Appearance > Home Page. It looks like there is a Meta Slider widget inserted there. Once you delete the row it’s in the page should hopefully be back to normal.

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the quick reply. I did as you said but only found the meta slider that I inserted. To see where the problem is, I deleted everything off the page and the title "home page" did not disappear. I then changed the name of the home page to see what would happen. mystery title under my main slider changed with the name !

It appears it's there from the title of the page. Stuck!

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you again!

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Thank you Andrew,

I just set it up. However, I was able to fool it. I went to pages and eliminated the name "home page" from the page. Now the page says "no title"
Front Page. The downside to this – "home disappeared from my menu but I added it back in the Appearance /Menu.

Problem appears to be solved but I would appreciate you checking anyway. Is it ok to have a home page without a title? Won't that hurt me in searches?

Thank you very much for helping on this!

Hey Scott :) At Pages > Home, in the right sidebar you can set the page template to Full Width, No Title. I’ve done so. This is a pretty standard home page setup. Anything else we need to check out on the home page? All looks good my side.
