We used Page Builder on the home page: thedockforlearning.org.
This works well in Firefox desktop and mobile, and on Chrome desktop. But in Chrome mobile, the page is slightly too wide for the viewport. This pushes the menu icon and the content partially off the screen.

Hi Lucas,
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I ask as I can’t seem to replicate this issue in Chrome or in Android.
It should, however, be noted that the images on the linked page are causing an overflow issue (where the images have a width larger than the width). I would recommend removing the hard width you’ve set for those images – the width was 600px.
Hello, Alex,
Thanks for your response!
I’m realizing that, like you said, the issue is caused by the image widgets. I’m using a default WP image widget because I want to show captions. I don’t know how to remove the hard width in this widget. If I make it less than 460px wide, it becomes too small on a full-size screen.
I have these options:

I like the SiteOrigin image widget better, because it is responsive. However, I can’t make it display captions.
Thanks!
I just moved the images into an HTML widget to allow WP to take care of the captioning, and the issue is solved. I’m still uneducated about the best way to use images responsively in WP–I wish I could use srcset here to allow downloading the appropriate image size–but I’m happy with the results I have now.
Thanks!
Hi Lucas,
I would recommend trying the SiteOrigin Image widget. It makes use of srcsets and it won’t suffer from the same width issue as your previous set. The SiteOrigin Image Widget is included in the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, once installed please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrign Widgets to activate it.
Hi Alex,
Yes, I was using the SiteOrigin Image Widget on another page. Is there way to make the image caption show?
Hi Lucas,
Currently, there’s no direct field for the caption (I’m going to log this as a feature request) so you’ll need to use the title field for the time being.
Thanks, Alex!
The more I use the Page Builder, the more I like it.
Pardon my extending this discussion, but you referred to the Title field. I wasn’t able to make the Title show when I tried it. Perhaps it’s my theme.
Hi Lucas,
Did you set the title to show by setting the Title Position?
If so, can you please link me to the page you’re trying to add a SiteOrigin Image widget with a title to so I can check over it?
Hi Alex,
Yes, I tried above and below.
Here’s a test page: https://thedockforlearning.org/testpage/
Hi Lucas,
I can confirm your theme is hiding the widget title.
You can fix this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Please add the following CSS:
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
Thanks!
