I’m hoping you can help me with a layout issue I have, I have Vantage Premium and want to layout the home page in a similar manor to this site “http://www.dartmoor4604.org.uk/” with the box style but really know how to with page builder so any help would be great.
If it’s possible to have the coloured borers to.

Dave

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Dave

    Thanks for reaching out.

    This layout is possible in Page Builder but it would take a fair bit of row and widget setup, ideally what you need is something that creates this design pattern automatically. I looked now and couldn’t find one. The best we could do is help you get started with a little custom CSS. Go to Appearance > Custom CSS and insert the following:

    /* Info Boxes */
    .info-boxes h3.widget-title {
        background: blue;
        color: #fff;
        margin-bottom: 5px;
        padding-top: 3px;
        padding-right: 10px;
        padding-bottom: 3px;
        padding-left: 10px;
    }

    .info-boxes .widget {
        border: 1px solid blue;
        padding-top: 3px;
        padding-right: 3px;
        padding-bottom: 3px;
        padding-left: 3px;
    }

    .info-boxes .textwidget {
        padding-top: 0;
        padding-right: 10px;
        padding-bottom: 0;
        padding-left: 10px;
    }

    Next, go to a page in question, click on the Page Builder tab assuming you have Page Builder by SiteOrigin installed. Insert a row and give it as many columns as you need. Edit the row and click the Attributes tab on the right, insert the following into the Row Class field:

    info-boxes

    Finally, insert a SiteOrigin Editor widget into each row, fill out the widget title and fill out the widget body with content.

    You an of course adjust the Custom CSS as required, it’s just a starting point.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Your site isn’t publicly viewable. If you let us know when it’s live we could take a look.

    Hello Andrew,
    Yes having big problems since I moved hosting providers as I was with 123-reg and moved to eukhost.
    Did a backup of database and wp-content uploaded to new server and problems,
    i.e missing the new home page I did and missing pictures etc and to top it all I changed it to ebringtonlodge1847.org.uk and it just will not diplay so hoping provider will sort that out for me.

    I’ll let you know when its up and working again.

    Regards
    David

    Hi, I Work Here

    Sorry to hear about the hassle. If you still have access to your original server then doing the move with Duplicator plugin is by the far the easiest and safest method.

    Sadly not but I cannot understand why it’s happened I have done it like that time after time.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Phew, ok, we’ll do what we can to assist, goes without saying now, but if you move in the future it’s handy to keep the old server running until the move is 100% complete.

    If you’ve changed the URL then missing media is an easy but labor intensive fix. The media URLs aren’t dynamic, once inserted they stay the same, images will need to be reinserted to reflect their new destination.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hello Andrew,
    I took your advice and used Duplicator on my localhost site that luckily I still had so uploaded it all and it now works but I will have to do all the this I did the other day before I put that link up for you.
    So once it’s ready I’ll list a link.
    Once again thank you for your help

    Hi, I Work Here

    Relief! Really glad to hear you had a copy locally, even if it was missing some work.

    For sure, let me know when this page is up, I can help you tweak the CSS I sent previously.

    Hello Andrew,
    Well I have it the way it was “well almost” before I lost it all but it’s still a work in progress and I displayed so logos in a table but for some reason I cannot find what I used as It’s got to be responsive with logo and text under each one.
    If you would like to take a look at the site you can find it at http://www.ebringtonlodge1847.org.uk/.

    Hi, I Work Here

    One way would be to insert the image and heading in the same SiteOrigin Widget as the box below it.
