I’d like to enable sharing on Pages as well as Posts.

Also, I’d like to add a second instance of the sharing buttons on each page/post under the date & author name.

It’s possible to use our Vantage Social widget in the sidebar and footer widget areas OR in any Page Builder page. The social sharing theme option is unfortunately only for posts.
Duplicating the sharing buttons on posts would unfortunately be a custom development task. If you’re interested in a quote we recommend https://codeable.io/
