Page excerpts show stray text from image slider

When using the SiteOrigin WordPress editor with SiteOrigin slider widget the text excerpt starts with “1 2 3 4…” because the slider image text leaks into the page’s text body.

I can’t find a way to edit excerpt text with the particular theme I’m using, so it would be nice to have a workaround.

    Hi Phflupp,

    Unfortunately, it’s not currently possible to avoid this situation at the moment. :(

    The only real workaround at the moment would be a custom excerpt or to place a text widget (with text) before the slider widget.

    It’s quite likely your excerpt meta box is hidden. Please go to your page and open the screen options, enable the excerpt field and scroll down and input a custom excerpt.
