I worked hard because I wanted my my site to be ready today. And it was.
Now I’ve updated the Pagebuilder plugin, and the front page brings up a ‘page not found’ error.
From inside the admin area it seems to look normal, but the front end simply won’t show up.
I’ve been reading threads on this forum, and deleted 2.4.2 and replaced it with 2.4.1 again, but that didn’t help. I tried updating to 2.4.2 again – didn’t help either…
Another page that was build with the pagebuilder still shows up like it should be, it’s only the homepage. I’m really puzzled and frustrated. I Hope you guys can help me out.
Mike
P.S.: I’m using the Vantage premium theme
Quick update:
I copied the layout from the homepage to an new page, and on that page everything looks just fine…
Hi Mike,
Is your custom home page enabled? Please got WP AdminAppearanceHomepage and ensure Custom Home page is set to on.
By the way, as you’re a Vantage Premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on this page. Please reference this thread.
I did the update a few minutes ago and my home page went away. I can pull up my site on every page except the home page!
There was an update of Events Calendar at the same time. When I deactivated and deleted Pagebuilder and reverted back to 2.4.1, then it works. I also had to undo the update to events calendar. For those of you using both, it appears the updates are not compatible. At least not for me.
Hi Gwyn Plummer
We’d like to help you, but can you please start a new thread with your question? We can only offer you the best support possible when you’re the owner of a thread.

Just to confirm, the conflicting plugin is The Events Calendar, correct? I would like to resolve this issue but I’m unable to find the exact plugin your refering to due to the generic name.
