Page Builder won’t save changes

6 years ago · Last reply by bartek 6 years ago

Hi, after the recent WordPress update the Page Builder on my blog won’t save any changes. I’ve gone through all the newest threads about it on the forum, tried the solutions, but it didn’t work for me. Any ideas?

We host the blog on Amazon if it makes any difference.

    Hi Bartek,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues after a recent WordPress update. There are currently no known compatibility issues with WordPress so we suspect you may have a plugin installed that’s not compatible with WordPress 5.1.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

The theme developer gave me the solution. The new WP has default Gutenberg plugin. I installed Classic Editor plugin and your Page Builder works perfectly with it. Solved!
