I updated from Version 2.3.2 to 2.4 now can not make updated when using SiteOrigin Editor Widget, any changes or add to this Widget and publish, all the new changes disappear. any and all changes in Page Builder do not take. even tried deleting widget and adding new widget and still, any updates/changes in Page Builder don’t take after publishing update.. what to do?
UPDATE: I have created a new page using Page Builder, added SiteOrigin Editor Widget and typed some text in the editor and clciked “done”. the text was saved. I then duplicate the Editor Widget and ended up with a blank Editor Widget. the in preview or when published the page is blank.. every thing had been working fine till i did the updated. please help fix..

We believe we’ve found the issue. Greg will push the update tomorrow morning GMT+2.
If you need to work right now you could delete Page Builder from Plugins after deactivating it and then install the previous version via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. The previous, stable version is here:

We have a fix ready, once we confirm that this fixes the issue we’ll send out the update. Would it be possible for you to manually install the update to check if this solves the issues for you?
1. In your WordPress admin, navigate to PluginsInstalled.
2. Deactivate Page Builder, then delete it to make sure you can install the new version.
3. Download a copy of 2.4.1: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/siteorigin-panels.2.4.1.zip
4. Navigate to PluginsAdd New. Click Upload Plugin, then select and install the 2.4.1 zip file you downloaded.

if i delete page builder, will all my content and layout currently in page builder be messed up or lost???
will their be an update were i can update from my plugin page?..
I have a lot of pages using page builder..

You should now be able to run the update from Dashboard > Updates and everything should be fixed after that.
(If you ever need to manually install or reinstall a plugin like Page Builder in the future, yes, it can be deleted and then reinstalled without any loss of data.)
