Page Builder tab missing

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hi there,
I’ve seen a few others reporting this, but the Page Builder tab is missing from our existing content (pages, posts, projects). If we create a new page, etc., the tab shows up as “undefined”.

Tried deactivating other plugins and deleting cache, but no luck.

Thanks for your help!

    Hi Kevin,

Do you happen to use a Theme Trust theme, or a Think Up Theme? Both use forks (a version based on our code but not actively developed by us) so if you are, we’re unable to help you due to the version differences. We recommend contacting your theme developer directory.

If this isn’t the case please ensure you’re using the latest version of SiteOrigin Page Builder, and if you are, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hey Alex,
We’re using a ThemeTrust theme, so it looks like I’m barking up the wrong tree. Thanks, though.

    Hello,
It happens exactly the same to me with Thinkupthemes Page builder when I started to use Polylang with. I would be glad to use SiteOrigin. Only one thing is missing: the tinyMCE. Is there any TinyMCE developed by SiteOrigin? Thx for your advice.

      Hi Madeleod,

We include a TinyMCE widget, called the SiteOrigin Editor widget, in our widgets bundle.

      Hi John,

Please ensure you’re using the latest version of SiteOrigin Page Builder installed. If you do, let’s try a plugin conflict test.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
