Page Builder Tab Has Disappeared And Is Not Working

Hi there

I installed Site Origins Page Builder over a year ago and have loved the functionality, look and feel that it brought to my website. With this said when i went to my website to add a few more pages and blog posts i noticed that the Page Builder tab on the top right in the “Add New section” was no longer there? I then clicked on the posts i had already built using Site Origins Page Builder pre-layout functionality and everything had been replaced with code? The code read something like this…

This is a huge problem for us in that we’re not able to load up or create any new pages/content using Site Origin Page Builder anymore. Please note we have not made any new changes at all to the plugin and up until now it has worked really well.

Please advise if there is a setting we need to turn on to reactive Page Builder? I went into my installed plugins to ensure that it was still active and i can confidently say that it is. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kyle,

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

If that doesn’t help, we’ve heard of a few reports that Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader is causing issues for certain users as it’s running in WP Admin for them. Are you using Cloudflare and if so, are you using Rocket Loader? If so, try temporarily disabling it to see if that helps.
