Hi

After the recent update to WordPress 5.3 my page (coryoga.com.au) suffered a failure of Page builder plugin. That is I can not edit existing nor add new pages using the page builder. I’ve tried everything I could think of or find on the support forum and nothing worked so far. (disabling all plugins, re-installing page builder, clearing cache, reverted to 2019 theme, etc).

The page still loads but rather in sort of a limp mode. At the back end, all page content non-editable inside short codes in the visual area, not inside the page builder. The page builder section itself appears at the very bottom of the edit page, but does not function at all (can’t add a new row, widgets or anything else).

Everything is up to date and I have classic editor installed as well. Any bit of help will be appreciated. Worst case the whole page will have to be re done from scratch which I’m trying to avoid.

I should also mention that I’m suing the site origin corp theme.

Thanks for your help.
Tom

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tom

To confirm, the issue persists even with all non-SiteOrigin plugins deactivated? If so, please, deactivate all non-SiteOrigin plugins, go to a page that’s impacted (please, don’t edit content in this state) and check the console, are there errors present? If so, screenshot, upload to imgur.com or similar and send us the link. Here is how to check the console: https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis. Please, also take a screenshot of a page with the issue, upload to imgur.com or similar and send us the link. Thanks.

    Hi Andrew

    Thaks for your reply.

Confirming all non siteorigin plugins have been turned off >

The only error I get when logged onto the console is the hero image not loading properly on the home page of coryoga.com.au >

To reiterate, the site still loads fine (except the hero on home page and a few other deactivated non siteorigin plugins that aren't compatible with v5.3). The main issue is that all page content has been pushed of of the page builder in the back end > https://i.imgur.com/1g8vY7T.jpg

And the page builder, although it appears to be loading at the bottom of edit or add new pages, it does not function in any way >

Any troubleshooting tips will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks Tom, appreciate the detailed reply. If you check the console when the issue occurs in the WordPress admin you should see further errors. 522 looks to be a CloudFlare issue. More info here https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003011431-Troubleshooting-Cloudflare-5XX-errors#522error.

    Thanks Andrew

I will follow up the 522 error with Cloudflare.

There's other errors on the edit home page when logged on to the console >

    And here is a screenshot of a sub-page > https://imgur.com/KBShzlO

Hope that makes more sense to you then it does to me

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the screenshots. Hopefully, all related to the Cloudflare issue. Let us know how it goes :) Thanks.

    HI

The page is now running directly from web hosting servers bypassing cloudflare, and the page builder issue persists.

    Dashboard errors > https://imgur.com/Latp0Kd

Edit home page errors > https://imgur.com/ifLT3jO

All non siteorigin plugins turned off.

Please be informed that the page builder issue have now been fixed. It was all due to Cloudflare errors and after switching it off it took time to reset back to normal. Thanks for your help and keep up the good work :)

    Cheers
