Page Builder Settings Not Working

Hello. When I go to the Page Builder Settings I get a screen that shows the tabs for the different types of settings. But when I click on any of those tabs the address in the address bar changes to reflect my selection, but there are no settings available to change. I end up with nothing on the page except for the “save settings” button. I’ve stripped all plugins out. I’ve cleared the cache. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. Nothing has worked.

In the long run, I’m just looking to change out of having my posts sent to the classic editor by default. If there is a way that I can change that, I think that I would be good to go.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sean

    Thanks for posting your question.

    Please, temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Page Builder and switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen. If the issue persists in that state with no other plugins activated and a default theme, try checking for console errors: https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis. If there are errors present, take a screenshot and upload it to imgur.com or any other sharing site and send us the link.

    Thank you. I received the following errors shown in the shared image.

    Thanks again.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for the screenshot. If you do a quick search on this issue you’ll see a huge array of possible causes.

    1. Please, can you confirm that you tested the settings page with a default theme like Twenty Nineteen activated and all plugins except for Page Builder deactivated? I’m asking to confirm because this is a little different than just stripping out plugins.

    2. If you’re able to, in your WordPress wp-config.php file, try inserting the following constant just above /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */.

    define( 'CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );

    3. If 2 doesn’t help, try going to DashboardUpdates and use the Re-install Now button.

    The issue isn’t with Page Builder. The JS error you’ve located is preventing the settings page from loading. This same error will impact other plugins too.

    Let me know how it goes :) Thanks.
