Hi, I like this plugin and it’s widgets a lot. Much better than Visual Composer for me.
When I use the Post Loop widget is it possible to limit the number of characters/words/paragraphs that are displayed? Now I see my whole post which can be long. I create for example a news or blog page and want to show a part of the body text.
Something like this:
now it looks like this (zoomed out a lot to get the idea)
Many thanks already :-)
I see that the links to the screenshots are missing from my above message. Here they are:

Hope to hear something. I bought a premium license so I suspect this is soon solved ;-)
Hi Jeroen,
The post loop widget makes use of the theme templates and isn’t able to directly control the display of the output. Instead, you’ll need to adjust your theme settings (if there are any that allow this) to do what you’re after.
I would recommend taking a look at alternative widgets such as the Inked Blog widget (which is added by Widgets for SiteOrigin) as that’ll give you the functionality to do this sort of thing (among other design options).
Hi Alex,
thanks for the reply. I am going to play around with the Inked Blog widget!
