Page builder plugin – columns not being displayed

Hei,

I have used page builder in many projects earlier and never had issues with compatibility. I think now I may have a compatibility issue?
I am using a custom build wordpress theme based on underscores.me. In the admin interface all works as in any other installation I have used before. When I then go to preview the site (3 columns layout) it stops working as expected. Instead of my 3 column layout each column takes full width on the site. When inspecting the page structure everything looks pretty reasonable:

<div id="pl-2573" class="panel-layout">
	<div id="pg-2573-0" class="panel-grid panel-no-style">
		<div id="pgc-2573-0-0" class="panel-grid-cell">
			<div id="panel-2573-0-0-1" class="so-panel widget widget_text panel-last-child" data-index="1">
				<div class="textwidget">
					Text

				</div>
			</div>
		</div><
		div id="pgc-2573-0-1" class="panel-grid-cell panel-grid-cell-mobile-last">
			<div id="panel-2573-0-1-0" class="so-panel widget widget_text panel-first-child panel-last-child" data-index="2">
				<div class="textwidget">
					text

				</div>
			</div>
		</div>

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Susanne,

    Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If the above doesn’t help, try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    If that doesn’t help, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Alex,

    and thanks for those pointers:
    I have deactivated all plugins and they don’t seem to be an issue.
    However when I activated twenty seventeen standard wordpress theme the columns started working as expected.
    Would there be any way to solve this then?
    You could take a look at is inland.studio, but the page that has the pagebuilder page is not public, since it doesn’t work at the moment.

    Hope there would be a way you could help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Susanne,

    Can you please privately publish the page so we can inspect that?

    Is this a custom theme? I ask as I suspect wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/front-flex.css isn’t outputting for some reason. Do you do any filtering of assets on output?

      Hi,

      I have now published the page as password protected: http://inland.studio/contacts-1/
      Is there any way I can sent you the password privately? I don’t want the page to be visible to everybody at this point.

      regarding the theme: as I’ve said in the original post: it’s a custom built theme based on underscores.me. I have not built it personally so I am not sure how exactly underscores.me is working and if there’s any customisation on outputting the assets.

      Greetings,
      Suse

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Suse,

    We base our themes on Underscores so there’s nothing in the base theme that could be causing this issue.
    Can you please email the password to Private Snippet?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Suse,

    THanks. The issue is actually bigger than what I originally suggested. front-flex.css is not only not outputting, no other page builder assets are outputting either.

    These points something specifically targeting and removing SitgeOrigin Page Builder assets. I would take a look at your code for any references to SiteOrigin to see if said references are whats filtering SiteOrigin Page Builder’s assets out.
