Page Builder Not Working Properly

I’m having the same problem as a few others. Pages that I know definitely have content on them are now showing up blank in the page editor. The visual, text and page builder windows are now blank, and it is automatically opening in the Text editor window… when it should be opening in Page Builder because there are already widgets inserted. The content of these pages is still visible on the live website….

It was working fine yesterday. The only thing that has changed is the WordPress auto update that occurred overnight, but I just reverted to the previous version on this particular site and it hasn’t changed the problem!!

Notes:
I have noticed that this is an inconsistent problem as it works on some of my pages and not on others. I have tried in both Chrome & Safari and I’m having the same problem.

I just created a new page and was able to add content (heading widget) with the page builder. Then closed it and opened it again and it’s displaying normally.

I’m not sure if this is helpful, but the 5 pages that are not displaying the editor properly all had an image widget and a video widget on them.

I am using ThinkUp Themes Minamaze Pro.

Any ideas short of rebuilding those pages?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Michelle,

Preface: Please make sure not to save any pages when they’re in this state. If you have, please do not run this test on that page.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If the aboe doesn’t help, you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
