Page Builder not working on home page

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

I have experienced this before on and off with different solutions, seems to happen to me with wordpress updates, the page builder either shows only code in the classic editor, or a jumbled mess in the block editor.

Currently it is only the home page. I created the site with Vantage and Page Builder, I did not have classic editor installed, and everything worked fine. I can’t say when the problem started as I have not edited the home page in weeks. I disabled all of the plugins I dare to. I am hesitant to disable some because I have had problems with settings reverting back to the default on plugins in the past, and even on the Vantage theme itself. I’ve cleared all the cache that I am able to and I disabled my cache plugin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am stuck for now.

Thanks!

I am not using the custom home page builder option, which is blank. Just a page that is designated in the customizer.

    Hi J

    Thanks for posting.

By default, Page Builder will maintain pages in the Classic Editor if they were created in the Classic Editor. It’s possible an issue of some sort forced the page out of the Classic Editor. Do you currently have the Classic Editor plugin activated?
