Page builder not working, have tried to solve myself

I think updates have stopped page builder working on my site

I’ve tried investigating conflicting plugins and just messed myself up

Can someone jump on my site and have a little look?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Natalie,

Could you elaborate on what you mean by, “messed myself up”. Did running the plugin conflict lead to further issues? Could you elaborate on the issue you’re facing?

For reference, this is the typical plugin conflict test we recommend:
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Alex

I have encountered the same issue. It seems that updating to WordPress 4.6 is causing the problem. I turned off all my plugins, but the issue isn’t resolved. Add widgets and rows works, but layouts directory just hangs

      Hi, I Work Here

      Hi Lambert Van Rijsewijk,

WordPress 4.6 has caused this issue. Annoyingly this was fixed before the release but another issue arose as a result of the update. :(

There will be a fix released either today or tomorrow.

    Hi,

I am having similar issues after updating to the new wordpress 4.6
All my siteorigin widgets have been removed and aren’t on my plugins list. I try to re-install and I am getting the message:

The widget SiteOrigin_Widgets_ImageGrid_Widget is not available. Please try locate and install the missing plugin. Post on the support forums if you need help.

I am also getting the message that I need to install SiteOrigin WIdgets Bundle. When I try to install it, I get the message:

    Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/so-widgets-bundle.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. Private Snippet

    Plugin install failed

Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Regards
    Paul

      Hi, I Work Here

      Hi Paul,

I suspect you updated the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle at the same time as 4.6 and the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle update failed. :( You’ll need to FTP into your website and navigate to the WordPress directory. Then, wp-content/plugins and delete the so-widgets-bundle/ directory. If you need help with doing this you should contact your hosting provider for help with this.
