Page builder not working

Hi I just was having trouble with pagebuilder and I just installed a new fresh version of WordPress with the Sydney theme and added pagebuilder and the site Origins widgets bundle. Everything was working fine up until yesterday. I can no longer edit any of my pages but it will allow me to edit the posts…. the three buttons, add media, shortcodes and add form and all of the kitchen sink items are missing. When you first click on edit, it will flash on the screen and then go right to the site origin widgets. I am not quite sure why it was working and then stopped working yesterday that I click on something possibly I did check under the settings and both post and pages are checked thank you for your help this is a great plugin. Unfortunately I’m just trying to build the site, so you can’t even get on it to see and I’m new at this so I’m not sure really what I’m doing. I have also deactivated and activated again. I was going to delete it off of there but I was afraid it would take everything with it or will it just take its own files and put a new version on thanks again. All the other dashboard items are up-to-date too.

    Hi Lart2be

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about the hassle.

Once a page or post has been moved to the Page Builder tab it will load on the Page Builder tab each time. That would explain the brief flash showing the regular editor. If you want to change back to the regular editor you can click the Switch to editor button at the top right where you’d normally find the Visual and Text tabs. Note that once you click this button and confirm you’ll lose the Page Builder layout if you had one added and then be taken back to the regular Visual and Text tabs.

Thanks so for your reply. Does that mean like say on the about page that
I'm going to lose the visual editor, the facts page, the call to action widgets on each page or they just won't show? Would I have to put all of that back in again? Thank you sorry to be a pain I'm just learning how to operate this.

    Hi, I Work Here

If you’ve created a layout in Page Builder and then clicked the Switch to Editor button there is no way to move the content back into Page Builder and still maintain the formatting of the widgets. To recover you can click Screen Options top right and enable Revisions if they aren’t already enabled. You can then scroll down to the Revisions meta box below the editor and roll back to a point before you switched from Page Builder to the regular editor.
